Scattered around a string of sheltered sandy coves and grassy cliff tops, Durness straddles the turning point on the main road as it swings east from the inland peat bogs to the coast. Durness is also the jumping-off point for rugged Cape Wrath, the windswept promontory at the Scotland's north-west tip.

Lovely secluded cottages, each sleeping 2-4people, in a very quiet part of Durness -  Ideal for families interested in walking, fishing, boating etc. Regular visitors have said they appreciate the freedom, peace and quiet and friendly atmosphere.
